Speaking of the professional front, Ranveer is currently busy shooting his next with Aditya Dhar, titled Dhurandhar. Recently, reports suggested that Ranveer is all set to produce a web show on Shaktimaan. However, the rumours were quickly denied by his team through an official statement. “The news about Ranveer Singh acquiring rights to develop a new superhero (Shaktimaan) project as the producer holds no truth,” his team clarified.
Besides Dhurandhar, Ranveer also has Don 3 in his kitty. A few days ago, it was reported that the shooting of the Farhan Akhtar directorial will begin in September this year. However, the makers are yet to confirm the same. Coming to the cast, the only confirmed actor is Ranveer. Kiara was announced as the female lead, however, it is reported that she quit the film after announcing her first pregnancy with husband Sidharth Malhotra. Reportedly, Vikrant Massey will be playing the antagonist in the upcoming film.
