Ed Sheeran vibes with rickshaw driver in Hyderabad; fans get amazed at the latter’s resemblance to S.S. Rajamouli

Ed Sheeran’s India tour has been full of memorable moments, but none quite as spontaneous and fun as a recent rickshaw ride he took in Hyderabad. On Monday, the British singer shared a video on his social media, capturing a delightful moment during his journey through the city.

In the video, Sheeran can be seen riding in a rickshaw when he plays his recent track ‘Azizam’ on the stereo. What followed was an unexpected yet joyous exchange—Rakesh, the rickshaw driver, started grooving to the beats of the song, giving fans an impromptu dance performance. Ed, not one to shy away from joining in, hopped over to the front seat, sat beside Rakesh, and continued to vibe with him. “I think he likes it. Let’s go,” Ed can be heard saying, with a wide smile as he shares the moment with his fans. He then turns to Rakesh, playfully urging him, “Give me the moves, man.”

Captioning the video, Ed wrote, “When I was touring India, I played Azizam to my taxi driver who was taking me around the city. He was a whole vibe, big up, Rakesh.” The video quickly went viral, and fans couldn’t get enough of the fun and cheerful exchange between the two.

However, what really caught the attention of many viewers wasn’t just the dance moves, but Rakesh’s striking resemblance to the internationally acclaimed filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli. Fans took to the comments section in a frenzy, expressing their surprise and amusement at the similarities between the two. Comments like “Who thought Rajamouli??”, “I thought he was Rajamouli,” and “Ye Rajamouli gaadi kyu chala rahe hai” (Why is Rajamouli driving the rickshaw?) flooded the post. One user even joked, “I initially thought that it was a collab between Rajamouli sir and Ed!”
