Kichcha Sudeepa’s daughter reveals how Salman Khan “spoiled her” during farmhouse stay: “He made me sing for him, and at 3 am, he called his music directors…”

Recently, Sanvi Sudeep, daughter of South Indian star Kichcha Sudeepa, shared her cherished memories of spending time with Salman Khan. During a candid interview with Jinal Modi for her YouTube channel, Sanvi recounted how Salman Khan “spoiled her” during her three-day stay at his farmhouse, giving fans a rare look at the actor’s affectionate nature away from the cameras.

A Treasured Childhood Memory

Sanvi revealed that her first meeting with Salman Khan happened when she was very young. In a touching gesture, she had given him her bracelet, which the Dabangg actor later wore during a Bigg Boss shoot. Years later, their paths crossed again during the filming of Dabangg 3, in which her father Kichcha Sudeepa starred alongside Salman. This reunion proved to be what Sanvi described as “the most fun” she had ever experienced.

The Surprise Visit to Galaxy Apartments

The Dabangg 3 filming period brought another memorable encounter when Sanvi, then 14, accompanied her father without knowing they were heading to Salman’s iconic Galaxy Apartments residence. Her father had simply asked her to dress well for dinner, keeping the destination a surprise.

“As I stepped inside, I noticed a painting of Salman Khan’s back and assumed we had arrived at a fan’s house,” Sanvi recalled. The reality dawned on her only when she spotted the superstar himself sitting on the sofa. Overwhelmed by his presence, she admitted to “fully sh**ting herself” because of his “superstar aura.”

From Fan to Recording Artist

What sets this celebrity encounter apart is how quickly it evolved into a meaningful connection. “He got so fond of me that day. He made me sing for him, and at 3 am, he called his music directors and said, ‘I am sending this girl. I want you to record her on track, keep her voice in case we need her for something,'” Sanvi shared. True to his word, she was taken to the studio the very next day.

The song she recorded was from Dabangg 3 itself, and in a gesture that touched Sanvi deeply, Salman would play her version instead of the original track at every party.

The Unforgettable Farmhouse Stay

The bond strengthened when Salman invited Sanvi to his farmhouse. “He didn’t care if my parents were around. From morning to night, I would be with him. He refused to let me go,” she reminisced. Describing the activities they enjoyed together, Sanvi said, “He would take me to the gym with him. We would go swimming. And since I love cars and bikes, he took me for rides in a very cool-looking monster truck through the woods.”

For the teenager, these experiences were extraordinary: “Those three days at his farmhouse were the most memorable time of my life—he spoiled me like anything.” In a thoughtful observation, Sanvi described Salman as a “very misunderstood man,” offering insight into the disconnect between his public image and personal character.

Upcoming Projects

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting Salman Khan’s action drama Sikandar. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film features an impressive cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj. With two songs already generating significant buzz, the movie is scheduled for an Eid release.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the Dharma Productions film will also star Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. Set to release this year, the movie marks the second collaboration between Janhvi and Varun, following Bawaal in 2023.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari was originally scheduled for release on April 18, 2025. However, the release has now been postponed to the second half of the year. The filmmakers believe this delay will allow them to add more fun elements to the movie.

Speaking about the delay, a source earlier told Bollywood Hungama, “Karan and Shashank believe there’s room to add more fun elements to the film, which is why they’ve planned another schedule focused on destination wedding moments. The entire cast, including Varun and Janhvi, will be part of this shoot. The goal is to elevate the film further to ensure it hits the mark. Karan, known for his expertise in this genre, is leaving no stone unturned to deliver two big-scale rom-coms: Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera in 2025.”

The report further mentioned that two song shoots for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari are still pending. “In addition to some scenes, the makers will also be filming two songs. Around 25 days of shooting remain, which has caused the delay in the release. The film is now expected to hit theaters in the second half of 2025,” added the source.

Varun Dhawan was last seen in Baby John, which did not meet expectations and received a mixed response. Keerthy Suresh made her Bollywood debut with the film, while Salman Khan appeared in a cameo.

PVR INOX honours Aamir Khan’s contribution to Indian cinema with ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’ film festival, trailer out now

PVR INOX, India’s largest cinema exhibition company, has announced ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’, a special film festival celebrating Aamir Khan’s contribution to Indian cinema. The festival offers audiences a chance to revisit the journey of one of the industry’s most influential actors and filmmakers.

A press conference was held in Mumbai, where Aamir Khan was joined by legendary screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar and PVR founder Ajay Bijli for a conversation about the festival. The trio unveiled the trailer of ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar’, adding to the anticipation. The festival will run from March 14, Aamir Khan’s birthday, to March 27.

While speaking about Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar said, “Here are some many Characters. I fear I might forget a few. Aamir was born in 1965, I started in 1965 in Bollywood. Aamir worked in the first film written by me. I was writing the film Faryaaz in Panchgani for Nassir Hussain. He saw Aamir and immediately told Nassir that he is a star and he should start with a romantic film. Aamir’s first film was produced was written by Javed. My son’s first film was with Aamir.”

Aamir told Javed Akhtar that he was waiting by for his call post saying no to Farhan for script hearing. When Javed didn’t call, Aamir realised that Farhan must have not spoken to him and he must truly believe in Aamir.

Only Aamir could have believed in these character and stories. Aamir did a film with Ashutosh with whom he had a flop before. A new director Farhan came to you with a 3 heroes film and you did it. Who would have done Dangal in their right mind. Role of such an old man who loses to his daughter in kushti. All actors work in films of directors who have given hits. You take chances no other can,” added Javed Akhtar.

Shilpa Shetty opens up about Baazigar’s iconic climax scene; says, “The shot was an iconic moment of Hindi cinema”

Shilpa Shetty has had a successful career in Bollywood, with several memorable films to her credit. One of her standout roles is in Baazigar, where she delivered a strong performance. Shilpa said, “I had no knowledge about films at that time, and I didn’t know how to approach it. I was like a student on set. I used to be very nervous back then. Because I came from a South Indian background, I never spoke in Hindi on the sets. When I did Aag, I asked Kader Bhai to teach me Urdu, and that’s when I learned from scratch. I used to feel very nervous about dialogue deliveries. But all of it is okay because I am able to convey. People understand what I am trying to say.”

“Akbar Bhai was the action director for the film, and we shot that scene nearly five times. I had a scar on my hip for nearly 8-10 years of my life because I was asked to wear a harness. Back in those times, we did not have any VFX. So I had to act authentically to show that I was falling and the building was moving. But the makers thought that the scene could be shot better. I have died nearly 15 times,” shared the actress with a hearty laugh.

“But when we saw the end product, I think that the shot was an iconic moment of Hindi cinema. Because you wouldn’t have seen a hero push an innocent heroine down. Shah Rukh Khan was brilliant. In the 90s, films were made with sheer love and not on a monetary basis,” she concluded.

Directed by Abbas-Mustan, Baazigar is a crime thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, and Kajol. National Indian Film Festival of Australia honors Superboys of Malegaon as Best Film

Director Reema Kagti’s Superboys of Malegaon continues to captivate audiences worldwide. After earning acclaim at prestigious international film festivals and winning over critics and cinephiles alike, the film has now made its theatrical debut. Adding to its growing list of accolades, Superboys of Malegaon has been honored with the ‘Best Film’ award at the National Indian Film Festival of Australia, further cementing its status as a cinematic triumph.

Director Reema Kagti shared her excitement after the win and said, “I would like to thank the National Indian Film Festival of Australia for choosing Superboys of Malegaon as the Best Film and for showcasing it in cities across Australia, helping the film reach a wider audience. The inaugural edition of the National Indian Film Festival of Australia took place from February 13 to March 2, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the celebration of Indian cinema on Australian shores. Spanning an extraordinary seven-city tour—Sydney, Canberra, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Melbourne—the festival brought a diverse array of films to audiences across the country. The grand finale featured a prestigious Red Carpet Gala and the closing night screening of Tannishtha Chatterjee’s Roam Rome Mein at Murdoch University in Perth. To extend the cinematic experience, Dendy Cinemas will host encore screenings of select festival films in the coming weeks, keeping the spirit of the festival alive.

Kalpana Raghavendar hospitalized after alleged suicide attempt

Popular Telugu singer Kalpana Raghavendar allegedly attempted suicide at her Hyderabad residence. According to PTI, citing police sources, she was found unconscious at her home on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, the police arrived at Kalpana Raghavendar’s residence after being alerted by the Residents’ Association. On Tuesday, they broke open the door and found her unconscious before rushing her to a hospital.

Doctors treating Kalpana Raghavendar stated that she had taken sleeping pills, and further details would be known once she regains consciousness, according to a police official from KPHB Police Station. Her condition is reported to be stable and out of danger.

According to TV reports, Kalpana Raghavendar is currently in stable condition. She was taken to a private hospital in Nizampet after her husband, Prasad, who was in Chennai, asked community members to check on her when she didn’t answer his calls. She had reportedly not been in contact with anyone for two days.

Kalpana Raghavendar had recently returned to Hyderabad from Kerala for an event. According to PTI, officials are investigating the reasons behind her alleged suicide attempt. Singers Geeta Madhuri, Sunitha, and others visited her at the hospital.

Kalpana Raghavendar won Idea Star Singer Malayalam Season 5 and participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1. She began her playback singing career at the age of five and had recorded 1,500 songs by 2013. She is the daughter of renowned playback singers TS Raghavendra and Sulochana.

Sonakshi Sinha to make her Telugu debut in supernatural fantasy thriller Jatadhara alongside Sudheer Babu: Sources

Sonakshi Sinha, who has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood with her diverse roles, is now gearing up to step into Telugu cinema. If reports are to be believed, the actress has been roped in as the leading lady in Jatadhara, a supernatural fantasy thriller directed by Venkat Kalyan and starring Sudheer Babu in the lead.

While an official confirmation is awaited, sources close to the actress has suggested that Sonakshi will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar, sharing screen space with Sudheer Babu. Further speaking about the same, sources also revealed that she is set to begin shooting for the film this month, on March 8.

Jatadhara has already created a stir following its grand muhurat in Hyderabad which was held month. The anticipation among fans was soaring when the makers unveiled the first look of the film in August last year and adding to the intrigue were mystic elements like the Trishul and Lord Shiva set against the backdrop.
