Spider-Man: Brand New Day has added another major milestone to its extraordinary theatrical run in India. After crossing the Rs. 500 crore mark, the Hollywood superhero film has now emerged as the second highest-grossing release of 2026 in the country.
As per the latest India box office figures, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has recorded Rs. 503.73 crore, putting it ahead of Border 2, which concluded its run at Rs. 341.70 crore. The film now sits only behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which leads the 2026 box office chart with an exceptional Rs. 1108.09 crore.
The achievement is significant considering the diverse mix of Hindi and Hollywood releases that have dominated the Indian box office this year. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has managed to stay ahead of several major Hindi releases, including The Odyssey at Rs. 178.16 crore, Bhoot Bangla at Rs. 168.26 crore and Dhamal 4 at Rs. 163.64 crore.
The 2026 top 10 is further rounded out by Welcome To The Jungle with Rs. 130.79 crore, Awarapan 2 with Rs. 108.18 crore, Cocktail 2 with Rs. 92.09 crore and Obsession with Rs. 85.27 crore.
For Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the run has been driven by both a powerful opening and impressive staying power. The film collected Rs. 336 crore in its extended first week before adding Rs. 111.78 crore in Week 2. Even as it progressed into its later weeks, the film continued to generate substantial business, ultimately crossing Rs. 500 crore in Weekend 6.
With Rs. 503.73 crore, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has not only become the second biggest release of 2026 but has also further underlined the growing scale of Hollywood films at the Indian box office.
