The actress and her team stated that they recently came across several fabricated images being circulated across social media platforms and online spaces. Calling the act a serious invasion of privacy, Rukmini made it clear that the visuals being shared are entirely fake and do not depict her in any manner.

Her statement read, “My team and I have come across certain AI-generated images being circulated online claiming to be me. I want to state clearly that these images are entirely fake and fabricated. The creation and circulation of such manipulated content is deeply irresponsible and a serious violation of privacy. We are taking this matter seriously and initiating the necessary legal and cybercrime action against those involved in creating and spreading these images. Requesting everyone to refrain from sharing or engaging with such content.”

The actress and her representatives have also urged media outlets, fan pages, content aggregators, and the general public to act responsibly and avoid amplifying misleading or unverified material online. The statement highlights the growing concerns surrounding the misuse of AI technology and deepfake content, particularly targeting public figures and celebrities.

Over the past few years, several leading actresses from the Indian film industry have faced similar situations involving digitally manipulated visuals and misleading AI-generated content. Celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Rashmika Mandanna have previously been victims of deepfake videos and edited content that sparked widespread conversations around online safety, consent, and digital privacy.

On the professional front, Rukmini Vasanth continues to remain one of the rising names in South Indian cinema. The actress is best known for her role in Kantara: Chapter 1 and is currently gearing up for two highly anticipated big-ticket releases. She will be seen alongside Yash in Toxic, which also stars Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria. Additionally, she has been cast opposite Jr NTR in the much-awaited film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel.
