Shiv Jyoti Rajput on working with Surya Sharma in Undekhi Season 4: “I know Surya since my workshop days… he was a constant support”

With the trailer of Undekhi Season 4 now out, the series is already building anticipation, especially with Shiv Jyoti Rajput joining the cast as a fresh face this season. Stepping into an established show can often feel daunting, but for Shiv Jyoti, familiarity came in the form of co-actor Surya Sharma.

Sharing her experience, she said, “I know Surya since my workshop days, and it is such a coincidence that he is also a part of the show. He is a great friend and a phenomenal actor. I was very comfortable on set because of him as I have known him for years. He was the person who introduced me to the other cast and made me feel comfortable on set. Everyone knew everyone, but Surya helped me get to know everyone as I was the new entry in Season 4 and I didn’t know anybody. That was an advantage for me – he was a constant support.”

Coming in as the new entrant in a closely bonded ensemble, Shiv Jyoti found her footing with ease, thanks to Surya’s presence and support. As Undekhi Season 4 moves closer to release, her entry is set to bring a fresh dynamic to the narrative, backed by both her performance and a strong off-screen camaraderie that translated seamlessly on screen.
