The untitled film is being directed by Anees Bazmee and stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna in key roles. Known for delivering mainstream entertainers packed with humour, drama and family appeal, Bazmee has earlier shared that the film will feature comedy, romance, action and songs. The ensemble cast also reportedly includes Vijay Raaz, Zakir Hussain and Sayaji Shinde.
With Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan reuniting on screen and Raashii Khanna joining the mix, the film has become one of the more talked-about commercial projects currently in production. Though the makers are yet to announce an official title, industry buzz around the project has remained strong since filming began earlier this year.
Beyond this film, Raashii has a packed slate ahead. She is set to headline Lukkhe, which is part of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming lineup.
