Peddi is one of the most anticipated films of 2026, headlined by global star Ram Charan. As the release draws closer, excitement continues to build. The film’s cinematographer, R. Rathnavelu, recently shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the colour grading process on social media. He is seen with acclaimed colourist Andreas Brueckl, offering a sneak peek into the film’s visual detailing. The post featured pictures from the grading suite along with stills from the film, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship and rich visual tone being crafted for Peddi.

Peddi’s first single, ‘Chikiri Chikiri,’ became a chartbuster hit upon its release, with listeners loving its refreshing vibe and the signature magic of A. R. Rahman. The track resonated widely, racking up an impressive 200 million+ views across platforms and setting the tone for the film’s musical journey.
Keeping the momentum alive, the makers dropped the second song, ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa,’ a high-energy track that quickly grabbed attention online. With over 58 million views on YouTube already, the song has further fueled anticipation for Peddi and its much-awaited release.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his banner, Vriddhi Cinemas, and in collaboration with leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, the film is scheduled for release on April 30, 2026.
