At a recent event, he confirmed that he will be kicking off his next project, currently being referred to as Suriya46, with director Venky Atluri, under the banner of Sithara Entertainments, next month.
Speaking about the upcoming film, Suriya said, “I have to announce this today. I had to start with Allu Arvind garu, the whole journey started with him”. Suriya went on to add how with his blessings, he will now share an update about the film audiences have been waiting for and went on to reveal how he is excited about associating with Sithara Entertainments, Vamsi and his dear brother Venky. He further added, “This will be my next. As you’ve all been asking after a long time, with beautiful association and beautiful talent here. We will be doing my next Tamil film with Venky (Atluri), and I will be spending a lot of time here in beautiful Hyderabad. From May onwards, we start our next. We need all your love, we need all your blessings. This will be a beautiful journey.”
Venky Atluri also shared his excitement by reposting a video snippet from the event on his Instagram story, writing, “Absolutely privileged and very excited to collaborate with the phenomenal @actorsuriya sir for his next, #Suriya46. Looking forward to sharing this unique journey with you all soon! Produced by my dearest @nagavamsi19 garu! @sitharaentertainments.”

Along with Suriya’s announcement, the event was also attended by Vijay Deverakonda, further adding star power to the evening.
