Shilpa Shirodkar remembers Khuda Gawah co-star Sridevi; says, “I miss her a lot, I have learnt so much from Sri”

Shilpa Shirodkar, best known as the 90s star for films like Gopi Kishan, Khuda Gawah, Kishen Kanhaiya, and Bhrashtachar among others, recently became the talk of the town with her Bigg Boss 18 stint. The actress recently shared details about her journey in the Indian entertainment industry and during the same, she also opened up about her fond memories of the late Bollywood legend, Sridevi. Shilpa shared her heartfelt thoughts about the iconic actress, revealing the significant impact she had on her life.

Shilpa Shirodkar confessed, “I miss her a lot. I have learnt so much from Sri.” She went on to describe Sridevi’s vibrant personality, saying, “Very fun-loving, very happy, very kind.” One of Shilpa’s most treasured memories with Sridevi was during the filming of a song at Mehboob studio. She fondly recalled how Sridevi patiently rehearsed with her, offering words of encouragement. “My most cherished memories with Sri was during song which we shot in the Mehboob studio. She did so many rehearsals with me. She came and told me, ‘You are very good’,” she said.

This poignant anecdote showcases the kindness and generosity that defined Sridevi’s spirit. Shilpa’s heartfelt tribute serves as a reminder of the lasting impact Sridevi had on those who knew her, both on and off-screen. Shilpa Shirodkar and Sridevi worked together in two films – Garajna (1991) and Khuda Gawah (1992).

Along with movies, the actress also showcased her versatility in television with serials like Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, Silsila Pyaar Ka, Savitri Devi College & Hospital, and the recent Bigg Boss.
