Navigating the turbulent seas of life can seem daunting with obstacles and uncertainties challenging every step one wants to take towards a chosen path. During such times, having a ‘saarthi’ is like having a force akin to a lighthouse guiding ships through treacherous waters. Talking about playing ‘saarthi’ Krishna, Debattama Saha said, “Bringing Krishna’s character to life in ‘Krishna Mohini’ has been an absolute privilege. Like a ‘saarthi’ illuminating the darkest nights, Krishna’s character casts a light to her brother, and is always ready to protect him from life’s tumultuous seas. The universal theme of unconditional and boundless love makes Krishna Mohini an ode to the unbreakable bond shared between brothers and sisters.”

However, this voyage is not merely a tale of a sister serving as a steadfast guiding force in his journey, but it also anchors the journey of Krishna who is destined to meet Aryaman. He is a reticent businessman who abandoned his musical aspirations to pursue entrepreneurship and is reminded of his days as a musician, blown away by her singing prowess.

Fahmaan Khan playing the role of Aryaman added, “Having a saarthi, a true companion is like discovering a guiding star in the vast expanse of the night sky. Aayush Sharma, who is married to Arpita Khan Sharma, recently hosted a grand premiere of his upcoming espionage entertainer Ruslaan which marks his comeback to theatres after 2021. The film, marking the debut of Sushrii Mishra, and featuring names like Jagapathi Babu and Vidya Malavade, is expected to have released on Friday, April 26 and the premiere hosted by the actor was definitely a glitzy evening with his brother-in-law Salman Khan also in attendance. It seems that a video from the Ruslaan premiere, as Salman Khan makes a grand entry and poses for the paparazzi, he warmly greets brother-in-law Aayush Sharma at the red carpet, who is accompanied by his son Ahil. Following them, as Khan sees his sister and his little niece Ayat, arriving he fondly greeted her and also placed a kiss on her head. Later, he also kissed Ahil on his head before getting back to posing for the paps, eventually creating a beautiful moment on the red carpet, showcasing his fondness for kids.

Even though Salman Khan is not married, the actor has never shied away from expressing his love for children. Salman has confessed about his ‘fondness for kids’ in earlier interviews, wherein he also revealed that there are certain laws in India which restrict him from becoming a father, without being a husband, the actor said that he has been thinking of ideas which will help him fulfill his wish of becoming a parent. But before that, Khan has been showering love on his nephews and nieces, including his brother Arbaaz, Sohail, and his other sister Alvira’s kids too, and is often seen doting on them.

“Salman Khan may not be concerned about his security, but we are,” says Asha Parekh

While Salman Khan seems unfazed by the risk to his life, the gunfire episode outside his home has escalated into a debate on the actor’s security.

Asha Parekh, a senior and highly respected actress told this writer, “Salman is a national asset, and his security must be of the utmost importance to the Government. Salman may be putting up a brave front so that his family doesn’t worry too much. But I am sure he is deeply concerned by what has happened. He may or may not be concerned about his security, but we are very concerned.”

The latest information on the situation is that Salman is “seriously considering” a move to his farmhouse on Panvel.

A close friend of the actor revealed, “Bhai as it is, spends a lot of time on his farm. He loves being there. It is also close to his Bigg Boss shooting location. With his safety in the city being seriously jeopardized, Bhai is looking at moving to his farmhouse in Panvel permanently.”

It is not very clear whether Salman’s parents are also planning to move. But it is to be noted that Salman has repeatedly reiterated that he cannot stay away from his parents.

Ayushmann Khurrana says “Pura Bollywood rent pe hai” as he speaks about industry’s reliance on rented clothing for fashion

In a recent interview, actor Ayushmann Khurrana shed light on a common practice in Bollywood: renting clothes for public appearances and film shoots. This challenges the perception of celebrities owning all the designer outfits they wear.

Speaking with Mashable India, the 39-year-old actor stated, “Pura Bollywood rent pe hai. Aapko lagta hai hum kapde kharedte hai? (The entire Bollywood industry rents clothes. Do you think we actually purchase all those outfits?) We hire stylists, they source the clothes and return the clothes. Where will we take so many clothes.”

Ayushmann also expressed his admiration for Diljit Dosanjh’s fashion sense and global influence. He further shared a lighthearted anecdote about his brother and actor Aparshakti Khurrana, and his fashion expertise. Ayushmann admitted, “I am not passionate about fashion. My life is very simple, but if you have to sport different looks for your work that’s a part of your profession but I am not driven by it.

The Vicky Donor actor further added, “Like my brother (Aparshakti Khurana) loves fashion and he does it very well. In fact, in the initial years when I was doing anchoring, he used to style me. He used to get pocket money for that. Maine bola tu mujhe style karde, ghar ke paise ghar mein aajaege (I told him style me, the money will stay in the house). Later he told me he doesn’t have time, mein khud actor ban gaya hoon (I myself have become an actor).”

Speaking of the professional front, Ayushmann was last seen in Dream Girl 2, co-starring Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, and Abhishek Banerjee, among others. The film did decent business at the box office despite Gadar 2 and OMG 2 releasing two weeks prior. He will be reportedly next seen playing the lead in the biopic of Sourav Ganguly.

Mumtaz’s trip to Pakistan was documented on her Instagram account, showcasing interactions with actors like Fawad Khan and musicians like Ghulam Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The actress spoke fondly of the hospitality she received, stating, “It was overwhelming…Everywhere I went, people came forward to shower me and my sister with love and gifts.”

Mumtaz’s positive experience extended to the artistic community. She praised Pakistani artists, calling them “talented” and advocating for their inclusion in Bollywood productions. “They should be allowed to come and work here. They are talented. Manushi confirmed rumors of being approached for Preeti’s role, opposite Shahid Kapoor, in Kabir Singh. However, she learned about this opportunity much later, after being crowned Miss World 2017. Contractual obligations with the Miss World organization prevented her from pursuing the role.

Despite missing out on Kabir Singh, Manushi expressed her appreciation for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s filmmaking style, particularly his portrayal of female characters. She went on to praise actress Rashmika Mandanna’s performance in Vanga’s Animal.

Manushi highlighted Rashmika Mandanna’s character arc in Animal, and stated how she stood her ground amidst a male-dominated narrative. Manushi stated, “That’s a role I would have loved to do,” acknowledging the strength and complexity of the character.

Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, is using her social media platform to promote mental health awareness. Through her candid posts, Ira sheds light on her struggles and coping mechanisms, encouraging open conversations about mental well-being. In a recent Instagram post, the star kid bravely addressed her fears and vulnerabilities. 

Using a series of slides captioned with yellow hearts, she wrote, “I’m scared. I’m scared of being alone. I’m scared of feeling helpless… The tangible, we can overcome. The fear is endless and as powerful as our imaginations.”

“Fear often feels worse than the thing itself. The tangible, we can overcome. The fear is endless and as powerful as our imaginations. I forget that I’m loved by very capable people who will find me if I’m lost. Take care of me if I’m hurt. I forget that I’m a capable person. There’s not much to do about that. Fear has that effect. Sukhwinder Singh REFUTES Ram Gopal Varma’s claims on ‘Jai Ho’ composition: “AR Rahman has composed the song, I have only sung it”

Earlier this week, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma sparked confusion by claiming that singer Sukhwinder Singh composed the Oscar-winning song ‘Jai Ho’ from Slumdog Millionaire, not AR Rahman. However, Sukhwinder has refuted the filmmaker’s claims and credited Rahman for the song’s music in an interview with Hindustan Times. He acknowledged singing the iconic track but credited Rahman’s role as the composer.

“AR Rahman has composed the song, I have only sung it. Ram Gopal Varma ji koi chhoti hasti toh nahin hain, shayad unhe kuchh galat pata chala hoga,” he stated. He clarified that any misinformation Varma might have received was unintentional. Sukhwinder Singh further elaborated on the song’s creation process. He revealed that lyricist Gulzar wrote the song, which AR Rahman liked and subsequently composed in Sukhwinder’s studio.

Rahman even presented the song to director Subhash Ghai for his film Yuvvraaj, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, Ghai felt the song wasn’t a good fit for his vision.

For the unversed, in an interview with Film Companion, RGV recalled meeting when Ghai got upset with Rahman after he found that he hadn’t composed the song. RGV stated that the filmmaker even lashed at the composer and said, “I am paying you crores of rupees as my music director and you are making Sukhwinder make a tune for me. You have the guts to say that in front of me? If I want Sukhwinder, I’ll sign him. Who are you to take my money and make Sukhwinder do the music for me?’”

Meanwhile, AR Rahman is yet to comment on the matter.

Inside Out 2 director Kelsey Mann recalls auditioning Maya Hawke for Anxiety at Disney World

Just a few months before the release of Inside Out 2, the fans are already awaiting the all-new emotions—Anxiety, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy. The Academy Award-winning film Inside Out gets a sequel where teenage emotions are all set to stir chaos in Riley’s mind. Recently, director Kelsey Mann opened up about Stranger Things star Maya Hawke’s casting for the voice of Anxiety in the film.

Recalling a delightful memory of casting for Anxiety, director Kelsey Mann shared “Here’s a really cool thing about Maya, [she] was awesome, you know.” He added, “It’s a really fun story. I auditioned Maya from Disney World, believe it or not. So, we went out to like to do an audition with Maya, and Mark [Nielsen] was like, ‘Good news is she said, ‘’Yes.”’ She would love to audition and meet with you. Bad news is it’s during your vacation.’ So, me and my kids, we were all at Disney World. I’m like ‘Ah, man, I’m at Disney World.’ He’s like ‘Don’t worry, we’ll figure something out.”

Speaking about his interaction with Maya Hawke, he added, “They did. It was awesome. I was with my family, I go, ‘Alright, I’ll be right back,’ and then they took me backstage, and I went back to some random office where they had a computer with Zoom on it. She absolutely crushed it. And my favorite part was, you know, at the end of it, I talked about what I wanted the movie to be about, and she just immediately connected with it. I think I even cried as she was talking. And I walked away and, you know, called you [Mark], and we’re like, ‘Oh my God, she’s perfect.’ And then I went back into the EPCOT and continued my vacation. It was hilarious.”

Inside Out 2 is all set to open in Indian theatres on June 14.

Ranveer Singh has found himself amidst a whirlwind as a video purportedly of him endorsing a political party has surfaced online, similar to an incident involving Aamir Khan. The video, originating from Singh’s recent visit to Varanasi, showcased the actor’s journey through the city’s cultural and religious heritage. Teaming up with actor Kriti Sanon, Singh graced the ramp as the showstopper for designer Manish Malhotra’s fashion extravaganza at Varanasi’s Namo Ghat. Their visit to the revered Kashi Vishwanath temple offered glimpses into their experiences.

However, an AI-generated video purportedly featuring Singh endorsing a political party ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has emerged. This development follows a similar incident involving Aamir Khan, where a deepfake video allegedly promoting a political entity went viral, prompting the veteran actor to refute its authenticity and involve law enforcement.
