It seems that Varun Dhawan is keeping his birthday celebrations low-key this year. The actor, as he turned 37 this year on April 24, rang in the special occasion with his close ones, which is his family and wife Natasha Dalal. For the unversed, Dhawan is on his way to fatherhood and couldn’t be more excited about the same. The Judwaa star, who is gearing up for a multitude of projects this year, took to the social media to share glimpses of the celebrations.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Varun Dhawan shared photos of the cake-cutting ceremony as he rang in his 37th birthday. With simple décor, Varun celebrated his birthday at his home with his mother, wife, and other family members. In the series of photos, he shared some special moments with his mother during the cake-cutting ceremony and apart from that, he also posted a photo where his wife Natasha Dalal, and his niece Niyara were seen praying at the temple in their apartment. Moreover, in the same post, Varun also shared photos of the home-cooked meal he relished on his birthday.
Apart from that, Varun also posted a heartfelt note, wherein he also revealed that he would be starting a new film soon but refrained from adding anymore details. In the post, he said, “Growing, learning and yet trying to stay the same thank u for all the wonderful wishes and love. P.s – I ate very lil bit of that cake since I start a new movie ?? very soon so very excited about that !!!!” Adding to this post were several of his colleagues from this industry which included his co-stars like Shraddha Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Huma Qureshi, and other celebs like Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Urvashi Rautela, Elli AvrRam, Malaika Arora, among others also posted their birthday wishes.

Meanwhile, coming to his work commitments, Varun Dhawan is expected to have a few projects lined up which includes his first collab with Atlee, Baby John, an action-thriller slated to release this year. He also has the highly-anticipated series Citadel – Honey Bunny with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor, too in the pipeline.
