Now, with the sequel Indian 2 set for release on July 12, 2024, their reunion has fueled speculation about Koirala’s potential involvement.
In her Instagram post, Koirala gushed about Haasan, calling him a “brilliant mind” and a “fan girl’s” dream collaborator. She spoke fondly of their conversations, highlighting his “unique & deep observations on life” and his “unparalleled cinematic understanding.” The post showcased a picture of the two stars, Koirala in a graceful white salwar kameez and Haasan in a casual black jumper and jeans.
Koirala expressed her gratitude to Haasan for recommending books that “stretched one’s mind & soul”. Meanwhile, Manisha Koirala recently forayed into the digital world as Mallikajaan, the chief courtesan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Haasan, on the other hand, captivated audiences with his portrayal of Supreme Yaskin in Nag Ashwin’s dystopian film Kalki 2898 AD.
On the other hand, Kamal Haasan is slated to appear in the highly-awaited Indian 2 by Shankar and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life.
