The Jagran Film Festival (JFF), the world’s largest traveling film festival, will begin on December 5th at Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium. With its tagline, “Good Cinema for Everyone,” JFF serves as a platform for cultural exchange and inclusivity. This year’s festival features a lineup selected from 4,787 submissions, with 292 films, including feature films, shorts, and documentaries, representing 78 languages from 111 countries. Over 100 days, the festival will travel across 11 states. The 2024 edition will present 102 films, including Indian and international works, spanning short films, documentaries, and OTT content from 29 countries in 34 languages.
Several notable personalities will attend the festival’s opening in Delhi, including actor Pankaj Kapoor, Bhuvan Bam, Rajpal Yadav, Rajat Kapoor, director Sudhir Mishra, and casting director Mukesh Chhabra. The Jagran Film Festival will be attended by personalities such as Manoj Bajpayee, Bhumi Pednekar, Taapsee Pannu, Rahul Rawail, and renowned directors including Padma Shri Anil Prakash Joshi, Aaditri Dipika, Onir, and Hari K Sudan. This season, the festival will travel to 18 cities, starting with its opening in Delhi and moving through Prayagraj, Varanasi, Raipur, Ranchi, Indore, Siliguri, Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Patna, Ludhiana, Dehradun, Hissar, and Darbhanga, before concluding in Mumbai.
In its 12th season, the Jagran Film Festival aims to build on the success of past seasons and offer a memorable cinematic experience for audiences across India. The festival will kick off in Delhi from December 5th to 8th at the Siri Fort Auditorium.
